Pendola Pass
NEW MAPThe signal that kept ringing across Toledo led to an old Italian village and Exodus transport hub.
“With your help, Celeste and Shani have triangulated the source of the strange signal that’s been ringing across Toledo. All signs point toward an old Italian village and Exodus transport hub called Pendola Pass.”
“Beyond the peaks that envelope the Rust Belt, icy air preserves Pendola Pass in its eerie grasp. Classic signs of an old-world civilization punctuate the narrow stretch: a supermarket, and a lifeless town square. Signs of the Exodus Project loom large: the observatory and buried train depot that once served as a major transit hub.”
“But dominating everything else lies the reason Raiders are called to Pendola Pass - one of the Emperors has fallen. Rare technology lies within, and your job is simple - get there, and find a way inside.”
Official description.S6
What the map is like
Our most complex map to date, with a strong focus on vertical terrain. A mix of challenging open spaces and densely structured buildings with multiple points of entry.
S3Movement: sprinting at steep slopes now lets you scramble up them for a short time (Scrambling), and you slide automatically after tumbling for too long.
S1
Dynamic Loot Zones
A test of a system exclusive to Pendola Pass for now. The loot value of certain areas varies from raid to raid, which makes routes less predictable. A zone never changes its loot type (Residential stays Residential), only how much it yields in that raid.
Access: new players can enter Pendola Pass right away if they are teamed up with players who already unlocked the map. The unlock step itself: not known yet
S1S8New ARC
3 NEW + MAP CONDITIONOfficial descriptions. Weak points and loot have not been published.

Bully
A machine-learned, oppressive, aggressive beast that cedes no ground as it gallops upon your position and fights with a host of lethal attacks. Use cover, time your response, and hit your shots; it is quick on its feet and unhinged in its quest.

Hydra
This enemy may not traverse, but it sure does move. Split into three stacked and autonomous portions, the Hydra is a turret that can handle entire squads with its triple-threat of weaponry. Found upon the Frigate, it requires a tactical approach: divert attention, find cover quickly, and attack when the moment arises.

Frigate
With the Emperor fallen, ARC are sending one of their largest vessels to patrol the area, and Raiders have started calling it the Frigate. After finding a way onto the colossal airborne carrier, you navigate its internal passageways, unlock paths and defend yourself against ARC new and old. It is designed as a very high-risk, high-reward encounter, and the developers deliberately left the rest unspoiled.
New weapons
STILETTO · BANTAM · ANVILDamage numbers and the craft recipe have not been published.

Stiletto
An early-game alternative to the Renegade. Cheap to craft and easy to wield, the choice for Raiders with a steady shot who attack from distance. Fire rate can be fast, but button mashing sacrifices accuracy.

Bantam
A snub-nosed revolver. Effective against ARC and Raiders, with a unique hip-fire capability. It takes over the Anvil’s role as the uncommon hand cannon.
Anvil
The Anvil goes from green to blue rarity. The Anvil Splitter is no longer a mod but an upgrade for the Amplified Anvil (see Amplification), and the Tech Mod slot was removed from the Anvil.
Weapon Amplification
FIFTH QUALITY LEVELA fifth quality level for 15 weapons, with a branching path of abilities that changes how a weapon behaves.
What it is
With the fully upgraded Research Workstation in your Outpost, Raiders get a fifth quality level for a range of guns. It unlocks a branching path of abilities and enhancements that can completely change a weapon’s behavior.
S6Official examples: a fully-automatic Burletta, a Renegade with a scope, a Rattler with incendiary bullets and a 64 bullet magazine. The feature rolls out to 15 weapons, with more planned.

New skill tree
New skills and a reshuffled layout. Under-performing skills were modified or replaced.
Reward Pass
The Reward Pass replaces Raider Decks. Cred was removed and replaced by Reward Points, a currency that is automatically applied to whichever pass you have active. Only one can be active at a time.
S1S7Feats and weekly milestones
Reward Points (RP) are earned through Feats, and each Feat also advances your weekly milestones.

Unlocking
The Outpost is an extension of the Raider Den, nestled between the Rust Belt and the mountain range. The first project step, “Research Topside Living Conditions”, asks you to take a photo of a farmland house.
S1S6“Unlocked by completing a project. Remember to accept the quest and bring your camera!”
